It was looking unlikely that Chipping Sodbury would get a Pantomime this festive season, but a group of seasoned local performers have come together to save the day.

Cinderella will be presented at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, a COVID secure venue at the end of January 2021.

There will be nine performances and the show will be 75 minutes long without an interval.

Seating will be on tables of four or six for each household or bubble with table service throughout the production.

The show is expected to sell-out quickly as capacity is reduced by over 60%.

Director Rob Creer said: “I love Panto and I’m so pleased that we’ll be able to make this happen. We have stunning costumes, catchy songs, hilarious gags and incredible animated scenery!”

Cast member James Murden added “I’m thrilled to be playing Buttons this year and so excited to work with such a fantastic team. The whole cast are so experienced and locals will recognise many of them from Chipping Sodbury Pantomimes over recent years!”

In the event that South Gloucestershire is still in Tier 3 at the time of the show, the production will be re-scheduled later in 2021 and tickets will be transferred.

Tickets for Cinderella are £12.50 each and go on sale Monday, November 30 at 10am at cinderella2021.co.uk.
