Caine Grange, 21, of St Georges Road, Dursley, was jailed after he terrified women with a knife on two separate occasions.

Both the incidents occurred in Nailsworth in July.

He pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed article in a public place and causing criminal damage and was sentenced to a prison term of three years and four months.

Two men who committed burglaries in Slimbridge and Wiltshire using a stolen van with false number plates were jailed after they crashed in a bid to escape police.

Michael Smith, 39, of Buckingham Avenue, St Marks, Cheltenham, pleaded guilty to two offences of burglary with intent to steal, handling stolen goods, careless driving and driving whilst disqualified. He was sentenced to three years in prison.

Wesley Aubrey, 34, of Devon Avenue, Cheltenham, also admitted two offences of burglary with intent to steal and handling stolen goods. He was jailed for two years and five months.

A man who was pulled over by police on the M4 near Royal Wootton Bassett had stabbed a woman in Cardiff just hours earlier.

A man who 'terrorised' his Stroud partner over the course of four years has been jailed.

Grigore Nedelcu, 35, of Nelson Street, Bristol, was found guilty of seven charges of controlling and coercive behaviour towards the woman, assaulting her and perverting the course of justice.

He was jailed for six years and ten months after jurors unanimously found him guilty following a trial at Gloucester crown court.

A MAN from Stroud has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison following an investigation by Gloucestershire Constabulary's Force Crime Operations team.

Everel Douglas, 36 and of Margaret's Hill Place received the sentence at Gloucester Crown Court last Friday (20 November) after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.
