Armed police arrest man in Wotton
Armed police arrested a man on suspicion of possessing a weapon in Wotton-under-Edge this morning.
Officers attended a house on Bear Street after concerns were raised about the welfare of a man living there.
No one was injured but a taser and a blank-firing weapon were recovered from the property.
The man remains in police custody.
