EVEN though Dursley's leisure centre, The Pulse, will be closed during lockdown, the fitness team will be live streaming classes via The Pulse app.

The virtual classes are free to members, otherwise, they’re £7.50 per month.

A spokesman for The Pulse said: "We are offering a full on line programme which can be accessed through the Pulse app.

"The cost is £7.50 which include: live streaming of up to 30 classes per week and access to over 40 fitness classes from the on demand library. Alternatively the live classes can be accessed as pay as you go.

"All current pulse members will receive all of the above free of charge.

"There will also be a daily Facebook 20 minute class free of charge at 12pm lunchtime to get everyone moving, including children.

"Free personal home programmes are available if you contact the Pulse to anyone who would like help with their New Year fitness regime.

"All other offers will be posted on our website and social media feed."
