The woman that was chased in Yate by a stranger after he lept out of bushes in front of her has said of her shock of the incident.
The 27-year-old victim who wishes not to be named, was walking from Yate leisure centre car park towards Tesco along Kennedy Way when she first noticed the strange man crouching behind a bush.
In her facebook post she reported how the man crouched behind the bush whilst watching her, when she ran towards her car in the under store car park, the stranger sprinted towards her, before stopping to watch her again.
The victim told the Gazette she was "shocked that things like this are happening so close to home."
She added she is now "scared to walk to work and generally feels unsafe and uncomfortable."
The man is described as being in his 40s or 50s and balding.
He was wearing black trousers and a blue coat and about 6ft tall and slim.
