A Minety man has admitted using pepper spray on another man.

Luke Lavery, 34, of The Crossing, had been due to stand trial at Swindon Crown Court this week on an allegation he administered a poison or noxious substance with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy.

He has now pleaded guilty and will be sentenced next month.

A banned driver copied a registration plate from Autotrader and put it on his uninsured Fiat, a court has heard.

Lewis Delicata was caught by police in Hook, near Royal Wootton Bassett, on April 17 last year.

Delicata, of Hook, pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified, fraudulent use of a registration mark, driving while uninsured and no MOT.

A woman has appeared in court after fly-tipping used nappies in Winterbourne.

Aniela Popescu, 31, of Kimberley Road in Fishponds, Bristol, was prosecuted by South Gloucestershire Council’s environmental enforcement team after a number of black bin bags were discovered on Trench Lane in March 2020.
