Drivers have been warned to only travel if they have to following a crash in Gloucestershire this morning.
The incident occured on Bear Hill, which runs down from Rodborough Common. Conditions on the road were described as 'treacherous'.
There have been numerous crashes in Gloucestershire in recent weeks, on motorways and country roads alike, with rain, ice and snow all posing challenges for drivers.
A tweet from Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service this morning stated: "A reminder for anyone that has to make an essential journey today, please allow extra time to defrost your car & ensure that ALL windows and mirrors are clear before setting off.

Driving conditions are unlikely to improve tomorrow, with heavy snow forecast for Gloucestershire tomorrow morning.
