Stroud police are still appealing for witnesses after arresting two men for possessing an offensive weapon in Highfields.
Dursley officers were called to an incident in Highfields at around 11pm on Thursday and stopped a car driven by two males that was leaving the area.
After searching the vehicle, they found a carving knife with a 19cm blade in the footwell and seized the weapon.
