JUST two years ago Tara Cozens opened up her independent estate agency business in Swindon and today she’s celebrating moving into Cirencester.

The 33-year-old entrepreneur is celebrating her second business anniversary by expanding to work across the Cotswolds.

Tara said: “There are many agents in today’s market place, but I believe that our reputation for customer service and excellence sets us apart from others.

"Now it’s time to expand into the Cotswolds and offer our services to more people.

"We have an ethos of treating the homes we deal with as if they were our own – and our customers appreciate that.”

In 2019, when she started out on her business journey, Tara decided to call her new business TLC Property Group, which not only reflects her initials but also the tender loving care she offers to her customers.

Tara, who lives in Cricklade has a wealth of experience gained in the commercial and independent sectors over 16 years and started in the property business when she was just 17 years-old.

She even helped one struggling estate agency business get back on its feet and saw them expand.

Now it is Tara’s turn to expand.

After the opening of a second branch in Marlborough earlier this year, Tara is opening a third branch in Cirencester.

Tara explained: “The vast majority of property searches are now conducted online.

"This is why you will not find TLC Property Group on the High Street.

"Our local agents work remotely, enabling them to accomplish more for their clients, whilst reducing the business overheads and passing those saving on to the customers.”

The new ‘remote’ branch will cover Fairford, Lechlade, Stroud and Tetbury, while the Marlborough branch covers areas such as, Corsham, Melksham and Calne.

Tara said: “I am thrilled to be celebrating the company’s second year in business and am excited to be expanding and being able to cover a larger area across the south west.

“Since my business started two years ago, we have faced some big challenges.

"Brexit impacted massively with people not wanting to make decisions about selling or moving house.

"Then, of course, the pandemic happened.”

Tara feels confident that her business and the property market have now weathered the storm and believes that the newly expanded TLC Property Group will continue to thrive.

“We have now helped well over 100 clients either sell or let their properties in the last two years," said Tara.

"I would like to thank all my loyal customers for their support, especially last year when the housing market went through uncertain times.

“Since the beginning of the year, lettings have gone through the roof.

"We have had a huge amount of enquiries and we are really looking forward to working with more new customers over the coming year and beyond.”
