A NEW pizza outlet sold out on its first day of trading in Dursley yesterday.

Cappinnis Pizza opened its doors on Silver Street and welcomed customers old and new.

The business is headed up by Dylan Cappinni, who started a takeaway pizza business in his back garden four years ago.

At first he began hosting pizza parties for his friends and family, and then he decided to turn his cooking into a business, with pop-up pizza nights at the Old Fox in Coaley and the Prince Albert in Stroud.

At the start of the pandemic he offered a take away service from his home in Cam, but things got a bit hectic with his children at home, so he decided it was time to branch out.

Now Dylan said he is delighted to have launched his own venue and to have been able to offer employment to young people in the area.

He said: "This is a big moment for us at Cappinnis and it's so nice to have new staff on board.

"We look forward to serving you all."

Orders can be made by telephone, on 01453 542688, or by calling in at the premises.

Online ordering will be available within the next few days, and delivery will be available within the next few weeks.

As well as being a talented chef, Dylan is a graffiti artist, and he and his brother have decorated the shop and menus with their stylish and colourful designs.
