A police officer will appear in court next week in connection with attempted voyeurism in Quedgeley police headquarters.

PC Jonathan Eaton, 32, is charged with two offences under the Criminal Attempts Act and is due to stand trial at Newport Crown Court onMonday, April 12, following an investigation by Gloucestershire Constabulary.

The offences relate to attempting to observe and record a woman in a changing area at Police Headquarters in Waterwells, Quedgeley in February 2019.

Eaton, who was training to become a Detective Constable in CID, was suspended from duty upon charges being brought, pending the outcome of misconduct proceedings.

The Force cannot comment further due to the pending legal proceedings.
