A murder investigation has been launched after a 17-year-old male sadly passed away last night following a stabbing in Cam yesterday.
Police were called to Cam Sports Club, on Everlands, at 1.20pm yesterday and the 17-year-old victim was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he sadly died.
The two 15-year-old boys and 20-year-old man who were arrested yesterday have been further arrested on suspicion of murder with custody extensions granted.
Stroud police confirmed the incident is now being treated as a murder investigation and reassurance patrols are taking place in the local area.
A spokesperson for Stroud police said: "Our thoughts are with the victim's family and friends at this sad time. They are currently being supported by specialist officers."
