A mini-heatwave is coming to Cam, Dursley, Yate, Thornbury and Sodbury, starting today and lasting until at least the end of the May bank holiday.
Temperatures are set to rise to 17C in the district, allowing pub patrons to enjoy their newfound pub garden liberties.
Not a cloud in the sky is expected until Sunday, making the days hot and nights cold.
After the odd scattered shower this morning, the Met Office expects plenty of sunny spells this afternoon with a maximum temperature 17C.
The evening will be clear, breezy and cold, even frosts with temperatures dipping to 0C.
Thursday will be fine and dry throughout, with mostly sunny skies but watch out for the winds. Maximum temperatur 15C.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will remain sunny and dry but with more cloud cover, with some winds taking the edge off the sunshine.
