Police have found a body in the search for a Gloucester man who was reported missing last night (Saturday).
A force spokesman said: "We're saddened to say a body has been found in the search for 25-year-old Jabid who had been reported missing from Gloucester last night (Saturday).
"Police along with colleagues from Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service and the National Police Air Service were involved in an overnight search.
"Water searches took place and earlier this morning (Sunday) SARA located a body in the River Severn, near to Gloucester Docks.
"Jabid's family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this extremely sad time.
"Thank you to all those who shared our missing person appeal for Jabid in the early hours of this morning and to all of our colleagues from partner agencies involved in the overnight search.
"The coroner has been notified and the death is currently being treated as not suspicious."
