Briony Elsbury and some recent Thornbury in Bloom displays
Thornbury in Bloom are holding a bring and buy plant sale from 10am-1pm on Saturday, May 15.
They are looking for donations of plants to be brought to the stall outside Thornbury town hall at around 9am, or to Thornbury Garden Shop during the week before.
The annual plant sale is Thornbury in Bloom's biggest fundraiser. This year it is especially important as the group finds itself short on funds to put together their entry for this year's South West In Bloom competition, after numerous other events and sponsors fell by the wayside during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The group is also looking for volunteers to help set up and/or run the stall. Anyone interested should email thornburyinbloom@yahoo.co.uk or text 07740 979840.
