Eight men and one boy have all been bailed from police custody following their arrest in connection to a suspected stabbing in Cheltenham.

They were all arrested late in the evening May 2 after a man was taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound to his back.

All eight men and the boy are on bail until May 25.

Shortly before 11pm on Sunday a serious disorder took place in the lower High Street area of Cheltenham and police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.

Investigating officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information. Anyone who witnessed this incident, or has any information, is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 466 of May 2.
