The discovery of rubbish dumped next to a bin along a popular walking route in Thornbury has been greeted with anger.
Penny Taylor came across the rubbish, which appears to consist partially of Christmas decorations, while walking along Streamleaze between St Davids Road and Gloucester Road.
She claims to have found a burnt out motorbike on the section between Gloucester Road and Park Road just a few days prior.
"We have excellent refuse collections and a SortIt Centre, so I am at a complete loss to understand why someone would think it is acceptable to dump their rubbish, on a nice walk, expecting someone else to dispose of it," she said.
Anyone who sees illegal fly-tipping is encouraged to report it by using South Gloucestershire Council's web form at southglos.gov.uk/flytipping.
