MORE travellers have arrived at a site in Brimsham Park near Yate over the weekend.

The site that backs onto Long Croft and runs along Randolph Avenue has seen a further 13 caravans and extra vehicles arrive since Saturday.

The attached video shows the land, which belongs to South Gloucestershire Council has been over run by caravans, lorries and cars. A number of children can be seen playing outside, near porta-loo style toilets and makeshift kennels for dogs that are tied up across the site.

Images from the site show the damage to the grass- caused by the significant number of vehicles now parked on the land.

A spokesperson for South Gloucestershire Council confirmed they have attended the site again today and bailiffs have been instructed.

They said: "Over the weekend, six caravans and associated vehicles joined this site. There are also now a further seven caravans and associated vehicles on the land adjacent to Randolph Road.

This site has been visited by the police and our Officer is monitoring any changes. Bailiffs shall be serving notices on Tuesday morning."
