Stonehouse Town suffered penalty heartache as they were knocked out of the quarter finals of the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup by Tuffley Rovers on Saturday.
After the match at Oldends Lane finished level at 3-3 after 90 minutes, Tuffley won the tie 4-2 on penalties.
Nick Humphreys gave Stonehouse the lead in the first half and Tim Williams notched a brace in the second, but it was Tuffley who progressed and will face Wokingham & Emmbrook for a place in the final this weekend.
Adam Clark was the hero, saving a spot kick from Lloyd Gardiner.
Ryan Thwaite was also off target for Stonehouse.
