Bellway’s Ladden Garden Village development in Yate is set to open to the public next month when the first new homes are released for sale.

The housebuilder is delivering 247 new homes on land off Clayhill Drive, including 161 two, three and four-bedroom homes for private sale and 86 affordable homes available for local people through rent or shared ownership.

Three sports pitches and public open space will also be provided as part of the approved plans. With work now well underway, the first homes are scheduled to be ready to move into next year.

The first properties will be released for sale in July, when a sales office and showhome will open on site.

Rachel Way, Sales Manager of Bellway South West, said: “Ladden Garden Village will form part of a wider new neighbourhood of the same name, which will deliver 2,000 much-needed new homes for Yate.

“The wider scheme includes two new primary schools, employment land and public open space for recreation, making it a particularly appealing development for first-time buyers and young families searching for a brand new home.”

Bellway’s development is located just north of Brinsham Fields Park, and is less than a mile-and-a-half from Yate town centre, while it’s a 30-minute drive from central Bristol and a 15-minute drive to junction 18 on the M4.

Rachel said: “South Gloucestershire Council approved Bellway’s plans back in 2020, and we are looking forward to releasing the first homes for sale at this attractive new development in July – particularly at a time when demand for high-quality housing remains high.”

The amenities at Ladden Garden Village are also currently under construction as part of the wider consortium scheme.

Prices at Ladden Garden Village are yet to be confirmed and will be announced at the launch.
