Maps will go on sale from Tuesday, July 20 from Morrisons in Yate, The Codrington Arms on North Road and via the Friends of North Road School Website.

Headteacher Sarah Stillie said: "The children have chosen characters that would make a great friend to Roley and uphold his and the school values.

"The values; pride, perseverance, positivity, ambition, responsibility and respect have been especially poignant this year- given the circumstances for everyone with Covid.

"The Friends wanted to do something to rase some much needed funds whilst getting the children out and about- and what better way than to explore the local area!

"We hope everyone gets involved."

The money raised by the trail will go towards improving the toilet facilities for the children at North Road Primary School and provide new classroom resources.

The trail is open to everyone as a fun and active event to enjoy during the summer holidays.
