CHILDREN across Yate and Chipping Sodbury enjoyed their last day in school on Wednesday as the summer holidays start.
After a tumultuous year that saw home schooling, zoom calling, PE with Joe Wicks, most children finally got to enjoy some time back in their classroom for some face-face learning before the start of the new year in September.
We, at the Gazette would like to wish all of the children the very best of luck as they take their next steps in their school journey, with some leaving reception, some infants, some junior and those leaving senior school.
We would also like to thank all of the teachers for their exceptional hard work throughout the pandemic and the continuity that children were able to receive in their learning throughout a very hard year.
Please continue to send your last day snaps to leanne.woodruff@newsquest.co.uk and they will be added to the gallery online.
