A 23-year-old Eastington man who drove dangerously while under the influence of cannabis and failed to stop for the police is to be sentenced by a crown court judge next month.
At Cheltenham magistrates court on July 13, Stephen Randlesome of Victoria Drive, pleaded guilty to driving a Mini Cooper dangerously on Moorend Lane, Gloucester, on December 14 last year.
He also admitted failing to stop for a constable in uniform, having no insurance, and having an excess level of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his bloodstream.
The magistrates decided that sentencing should be handed down by a Gloucester Crown Court judge on August 18 and bailed Randlesome unconditionally until then. They imposed an interim driving ban pending sentence.
