A CHARITY football match will be played on Sunday to raise funds for the hospital that saved a Yate soldier’s life.
Philip Hardwell has organised the match which will we see footballers from South Yate take on players from the North side in a charity game to raise money for Papworth Hospital where he received a life-saving heart transplant last year.
The game will kick off at 1pm on Sunday at the Ridings- home of Chipping Sodbury Football Club.
Attendance is free on the day - with a donation bucket on the gate and around the stands.
Donations can also be made on the public fundraising Facebook page Football match for Papworth Hospital Charity.
