A car burst into flames in Cam High Street earlier this afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene at 2.34pm and the road was blocked off to allow firefighters to extinguish the blaze and clear the incident.
No one was hurt in the incident.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to Cam High Street at 2.34pm to the scene of a single vehicle on fire.
"One appliance from Dursley attended the scene and two hose reels and two breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire.
"The vehicle was 100% damaged. The stop message was received at 3.16pm.”
One eye witness said she and other passersby helped to block the road, and a bus also helped to block off the route, before the arrival of the emergency services.
