Thornbury Memory Cafe is reopening on Tuesday, September 14.

The cafe, at Thornbury Methodist Church Hall, Castle Court, is open for anyone with memory issues together with a carer.

It will be open from 10.15am until 11.45am.

Coffee, tea and biscuits will be available. There is no charge but there is a voluntary contribution box.

Parking is available outside for Blue Badge holders or in the nearby car park.

Volunteer John Lee said: “We have had a long period of closure due to Covid-19 but we hope that will now all be behind us.

“We will, of course, be taking all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe, but it will be a great pleasure to see all our friends and colleagues again.

“Our volunteers are all ready to get going.

“There is sure to be lots of chatter about events since we had to close last year.

“We are sure you will enjoy the experience and fun. We look forward to seeing you all.”
