The hugely popular Frampton Country Fair went ahead yesterday and local photographer Simon Pizzey was there to catch all of the action.
From modest beginnings in 1986, the event has grown to become one of the biggest single day events of its kind in the south west - offering not just a great day out but also showcasing the best of Britain’s countryside. Rural skills such as dry-stone walling, hedge laying and the craft of the farrier, are just a few of the crafts were on display.
Besides displays and attractions across the 30 acre park, there is also a non-stop programme of entertainment in the main ring including an amazing display of riding skills from Atkinson Action Horses, who have trained horses and riders for film and TV including Poldark, Victoria and Peaky Blinders.
Over 300 trade stands displayed everything from cheeses to dog and equestrian equipment.
Have a look through Simon's pictures of the day.
