WEST African (Mundi) dance and drums kicked off the Yate International Festival on Saturday.
The crowds were treated to a day of Indian Dhol Drums and as well a traditional Chinese dance performed by the South Gloucestershire Chinese Association and eastern dance from Tribal Fantasy.
Visitors were wowed by Same Same but Different Theatre group performing their Rajasthani puppetry and storytelling theatre and by routines from Yate’s ever-popular dance troupe Street Cred, who pulled out the stops to demonstrate their street dancing routines.
Food stalls, Chinese calligraphy, Indian games, international style mosaic and craft were also on offer.
