Rescuers were called to help two climbers who had fallen down the side of a cliff in Gloucestershire yesterday.
Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) teams from Beachley and Tewkesbury rescued two climbers from Woodcroft Quarry after they fell from the cliff and found themselves stranded on a ledge.
South West Ambulance Service and Gloucestershire fire services along with a SARA casualty carer and team doctor were lowered to the casualties half way down the cliff face.
One casualty was lowered down the cliff face, and the other raised to the cliff top. Both climbers required care from ambulance service.
