A popular restaurant in Chipping Sodbury is set to close just three and a half years after it first opened its doors.
The Stables at Vayre House opened on May 13, 2018 but owner Karen Stallabrass took to social media this week to say that with a 'heavy heart' the restaurant would cease trading on November 1.
Situated Hatters Lane, just a little more than 300 metres from Chipping Sodbury High Street, the traditional 17th century building is located in what once an old stables and blacksmiths.
Ms Stallabrass transformed the outbuildings at her Hatters Lane home into the restaurant and it has been a popular places for dining in the area ever since.
In the Facebook post Ms Stallabrass thanked customers for their loyalty and blamed the closure on staffing issues.
