A HARVEST festival assembly at Thornbury’s Crossways Schools has been held in support of a local foodbank.
Families were asked to bring in food and 378kgs worth has been donated to North Bristol Foodbank.
Executive headteacher Paul Medlicott said: “It was fantastic to welcome Tilly from the North Bristol Foodbank into the Crossways Schools to help our children understand how their generous donations will help others.
“The community has once again shown our values in action, thinking about others that are less fortunate.”
