YATE Town take on Yeovil Town at 3pm today in a West Country derby in the first round of the FA Cup proper and manager Paul Michael said the Bluebells will play with the ferocity a match that huge, warrants.

In an interview on BBC Radio Bristol with Jonathan Ray this morning, Yate Town manager Paul Michael said he will be 'pretty relaxed today' with the club being in the same position now as they were ahead of the game away to Dover Athletic in the Fourth Qualifying round a in October.

He told Jonathan Ray the team are 'ready to go again' and with no expectations on the club ranked two leagues below National league side Yeovil, Yate Town have the 'opportunity to show what were about with no pressure.'

Michael added: "We are playing a team that were in the championship not that long ago and where they've been in the position of being giant killers in the past- they are now there to be shot at and we will run and work hard to do everything we can to cause an upset today.

Having had only one training session this week due to playing a league game Tuesday night that saw Yate slaughter Salisbury in a 5-2 thriller, Paul Michael added that it would be interesting to see that comparison that had against a club with a full time professional squad.

He said: "We've had one hour of training versus their week of preparations, so we will see how the detail we managed to get across in an hour, compares to a professional football club."

Michael added: "Today is about relaxing and enjoying the game, doing the things we normally do and be prepared to run for the team.

"I know we will be nervous for the first 20 minutes of the game, that's only natural and wont change no matter what I say- but if we get through that, I expect us to grow in the game and who knows what can happen.

"We've got to go in and compete with the ferocity a West Country derby warrants."
