The 100th Thornbury parkrun took place last Saturday, almost exactly four years to the day after the first one - on November 18, 2017.
There were 127 people who ran, jogged and walked the 5km course at the Mundy Playing Fields, including 28 first timers parkrunners and 27 who achieved a personal best.
"We had fair weather, fancy dress and lots of fun," said volunteer Jim Constable.
"A team of 18 volunteers were led by run director Angela Kerr wearing a cheetah's outfit.
"She told the assembled runners that a cheetah running the whole course at top speed would take about 3 minutes!
"We'll be back again for a 9am start this Saturday for parkrun number 101!"
