A Yate man found in possession of heroin who refused to provide a specimen after being suspected of having driven a vehicle has appeared in court.
Judd McCarthy, of Blaisdon, was found in possession of 3.38g of the class A drug and then failed to provide a specimen for analysis in Bournemouth on March 21, 2020.
He was banned from driving for 12-months after changing his plea to guilty on the day of the trial.
The 45-year-old was fined £100 for each offence and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 plus costs of £100 to the Crown Prosecution Service after the case was heard at Poole Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 30.
