HOUSEBUILDER Newland Homes is celebrating its sales success at Redwing Gate in Cam, where 75 per cent of the new homes have been sold in less than nine months.
41 new homes are being built at the site: a mix of detached and terraced properties ranging in size from one bedroom through to four bedrooms.
Debbie Goodwin, sales consultant at Redwing Gate, said: “All remaining homes are currently eligible for the Help to Buy Equity Loan Scheme, which is a Government-backed scheme that lends first time buyers up to 20 per cent of the cost of a new build home, interest free for the first five years.
"This is a rarity in Gloucestershire, as recent research has shown that only 1.7 per cent of homes on the market in the county are eligible for Help to Buy.”
