CHILDREN across Yate and Chipping Sodbury were treated to a wonderful sight over the weekend as Father Christmas, his cheeky elf and the Grinch paid them a visit.
The Santa Float, running for its second year visited streets across the area as parents and children stayed out to wave to Old St Nick in his sleighed pulled by a tractor.
Last year the team raised ver £17,000 for the Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal, after first being built by volunteers to bring some festive cheer to the streets during lockdown.
The team will visit as many areas of Bristol as possible throughout December ending with a visit to the Children's Hospital on Christmas Eve. For more details follow The Original Santa Float on Facebook.
