Man identified following assault on bus to Thornbury
A man has been identified following an assault on a bus between Bristol and Thornbury.
A CCTV image had been released following the incident at around 12:15am on Sunday, November 14.
The victim was travelling on the T1 bus when she was verbally abused by an unknown male.
He then hit her with a newspaper, and bent her fingers backwards causing a minor injury to her hand.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "A man has come forward to assist us with our enquiries.
"We're grateful to everyone who shared our CCTV appeal this week to identify the male we wanted to speak to.
"Enquiries into the matter are ongoing."
