The is a risk of tidal surge flooding in Gloucestershire as a result of storm Eunice.

A severe weather warning has been issued by the Met Office from 7am tomorrow until midday.

River Severn flood defences are expected to be overtopped by a tidal surge.

Anybody who lives in a flood risk area is advised to leave their home and stay with family or friends if possible.

Anyone unable to do that is encouraged to move to their nearest rest centre from 7am tomorrow.

There are rest centres at Sharpness Village Hall and Whitminster Village Hall.

Anyone who lives in a flood risk area but is isolating due to coronavirus should still leave your property. They are asked to wear a mask, stay in a separate room if possible, and open a window if safe to do so.
