A spokesperson for St Nicks, said: "It’s fantastic to be able to host our tournament for the first time since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic. It had such an impact on all of our lives for so long, it’s such a relief to return to near-normality and to put on a great weekend of tournament football! We have 50 teams in the festival of football and 190 in the competitive competition.

"We have over 1800 kids taking part, playing across 15 pitches 300 of those are from St Nicholas FC alone

"We've got sweets, hot food, inflatables and a bar over the full 2 days, and it's run 100% by club volunteers!

"We’re pleased to see so many of you back with us this year, as well as some teams making their first appearances here, and we're really looking forward to seeing the usual high standard of football being played in a competitive and friendly atmosphere."
