A DAD who regularly walks his dog near the area that two girls were touched inappropriately has said he is 'shocked' and 'concerned' by the reports.

Yesterday officers released an E-fit of a man they would like to speak to after two girls were touched inappropriately in separate incidents in South Yate.

Wesley Figg, a foster carer, who lives near both the areas in the reports, said that he was disgusted by the incidents and concerned for the children in the area.

"I have lived here a long time and its shocking to hear that not one, but two worrying incidents have happened.

"As a parent this is the first time I have been made aware of the incidents and I have warned my children to be more vigilant, and as parents I think we will all be more aware of those around us.

"It is very concerning this has happened, hopefully now the public are more aware and have an image, the person responsible will be caught".

The first girl was touched inappropriately in January, in Slimbridge Close, the second in the underpass near Sandhurst, Yate.

Avon and Somerset Police say they are keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents are linked.

One victim described the offender as white, with blond hair and aged in his 20s around 5ft 9in tall.
