POLICE have released an update after three men were arrested in the hunt for a child that had been missing for 15 days.
Officers found a 15-year-old girl last Thursday, (May 12) at an address in Bristol after a huge search and arrested the three men on suspicion of child abduction.
Avon and Somerset Police have now confirmed that two of the men were released under investigation and a third was released on conditional bail.
The child had been missing from a home she shared with her foster parents in Southmead.
At the time Detective Inspector Laura Miller said: “We’re delighted to confirm Maddie has been found.
“We’re extremely grateful for all the support the public gave us in our search for Maddie and would like to reassure them she is now being provided with all the care and support she needs.
“We appreciate there is significant interest in this case and I’d ask people not to speculate and to think about the impact it may have on Maddie and her loved ones."
