A Yate man has been charged with littering
A YATE man has been ordered to pay over £400 for chucking a cigarette butt on the ground in Bristol.
35-year-old Alex Dix of Abbotswood was found guilty on June 14 at Bristol Magistrates Court and ordered to pay a fine of £220, also a victim surcharge of £34 and £150 in costs.
The defendant was proven guilty by the Single Justice Procedure.
Dix was found guilty of throwing the cigarette butt outside Zara in Broadmead on January, 18 this year.
He has until July 12, to pay the balance in full.
