REVELLERS flocked to Kingsgate Park in Yate on Saturday as the first festival since the beginning of the pandemic got underway.
Yate Rocks! made its welcome return to the park as scores of locals enjoyed the music and performances in the sunshine.
Yate Town Council hosted the event alongside the Friends of Kingsgate Park and new Yate mayor Cheryl Kirby who opened the event said: "It's great to be back- it's our fifteenth event here and busier than ever- having lost three years to covid- we had a brilliant crowd and the weather was in our favour.
"It was an all round brilliant day, thanks goes to all of those that have performed and organised such a brilliant event."
