RESIDENTS at a development in Thornbury say a huge list of repairs and improvements still haven't taken place despite assurances from the homebuilder.
People living at Park Farm say there are still over fifty hazardous or dangerous works outstanding on a huge snagging list.
The complaints come despite an apology from the managing director of Barratt David Wilson homes in April, acknowledging work has taken longer to complete 'than is usual.'
Despite his assurances that the completion of the development was a 'priority,' residents claim parts of the site are still dangerous.
A spokesperson for the developer gave residents anticipated completion dates for a number of the issues, including that play areas on the site would be completed by June 30.
However Park Farm resident, Steve Whiteside has said this is not the case.
Steve said: "There is still so much to do for the park to be opened, despite them being two weeks over their own, already extended completion date.
"They have prepared the ground with grass- but no safety matting, which is completely dangerous for children, because although they're technically not meant to use the park- children can get on there if they want to.
"I asked the contractor whether it will be open soon and they advised it would be 'a while yet' as safety matting was still needed under the equipment.
Steve also claims used materials, including damaged fencing and wiring, has been dumped around the site and that he had witnessed a contractor urinating in hedgerows on the site.
He said: "It's all just getting ridiculous, we are never replied to by the developers, despite our constant emails to them- it's like they just don't care.
"How much longer do we need to wait to live in an area that is safe for us and our children."
Louise Ware, sales director for Barratt David Wilson Homes South West said: "We’re continuing to work on the site but acknowledge there hasn’t been significant progress since we last wrote to residents, for which we apologise.
"We continue to work closely with contractors to ensure all outstanding building works are completed by the end of September and we’ll provide residents with a full update by the end of this week."
