Beautiful gardens at Daglingworth House, near Cirencester will be open next Sunday to raise money for Minchinhampton-based Longfield Community Hospice.
Organised by Longfield’s Cirencester supporter group, Daglingworth House is home to beautiful classical gardens of 2.5 acres.
Within its walls are ornamental hedges, topiary shapes, herbaceous borders, meadows, woodland, a mirror canal and a sunken garden.
Annie Gould, from the fundraising team at Longfield, said: “We’re so grateful to David and Etta Howard for opening up their stunning gardens for Longfield and allowing us to hold this lovely event.
“As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity of local supporters to help fund our vital work in the community. ”
A raffle will also be available on the day with all proceeds going to the hospice. Free parking is available in the neighbouring field.
Longfield supports people in Gloucestershire with a life-limiting illness, from diagnosis onwards. As well as providing Hospice at Home care, Longfield also offers help and support to patients, families and carers through a range of Wellbeing services at the hospice.
The event on Sunday, August 14 will run from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
Tickets cost £7.50 per person which includes entrance to the gardens and refreshments
Numbers are strictly limited and tickets must be booked in advance.
