A THORNBURY man faces a whopping legal bill for breaking a 30mph limit in his Audi.
Peter Durbin, aged 44, of Armstrong Close, Thornbury, must pay more than £700 and has been given six penalty points.
Durbin was caught on the B4061 Alveston Hill at Alveston at 51mph in a 30mph area on July 7 last year.
He admitted the charge at Bath Magistrates' Court on August 2 having previously pleaded not guilty.
Durbin was fined £540 and must pay a £54 victim services surcharge plus £110 costs - a total of £704.
