Out of order
I can't be the only one to complain about the lift regularly not working from the bus station to the shopping centre and Stroud itself. People who go to Stroud by bus are having difficulty in getting to the town centre when the lift from the bus station is not working.
Not everyone can negotiate steps or steep inclines due to age or health problems.
Does anyone know why the lift is continually out of action and who is responsible for its maintenance ie the Five Valleys shopping centre , District Council etc?
If it is due to vandals, are cameras and alarm system installed?
