POLICE are appealing for information after a property was burgled in Cam yesterday (December 9). 

Burglars stole a motocross bike and a bicycle from a property’s garden in Turner Road at around 3am. 

The noise woke up the homeowner, who chased the bike thieves away from their property.

According to Gloucestershire police three people ran away towards The Crapen direction and got into a silver car.

Police are now urging anyone to get in touch if they have CCTV footage of the incident.  

PCSO Liz Ward from Gloucestershire police said in a community alert: “Yesterday (Friday, December 9) at around 3am a property was broken into in Turner Road, Cam. 

“Entry was gained to a garage area at the rear of the garden and a motocross bike was removed and a push bike. 

“The owner of the property was awoken by this and chased the offenders off. Three people ran off towards The Crapen direction and got into a silver car.”
