SHOPPERS and traders have reacted with shock and sadness after a much-loved shop has announced that it is due to close down.

Gift shop, Just to Say, has been a fixture in Dursley high street for nearly 20 years, having first opened its doors in 2004.

The shop sells a range of items, from cards for all occasions to giftware, teddy bears and party gear.

Owner Sue Pinnell took over the business in 2007 and has announced that she is planning to retire in three months time.

Unless someone takes over the business the shop will shut on Friday, March 31.

“After a lot of deliberation, I have made the decision to retire,” Sue said in a statement.

“At this time, I have had no interest in anyone taking on the business.
