A 41-YEAR-OLD Dursley woman has been charged with driving a Renault after taking cocaine and ecstasy.
Alexandra Hayward, of St Georges Road indicated a guilty plea to all charges at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 13.
The offence is alleged to have occurred in Metz Way, Gloucester on October 3 last year while Hayward was driving a Renault Twingo.
It is also alleged she drove dangerously around the area including in Bruton Way, Metz Way, Eastern Avenue and Old Painswick Road.
Hayward tested positive for cocaine and MDMA as well as benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine.
It is alleged she had 13 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood, 52 micrograms of MDMA per litre of blood and 800 micrograms of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood.
Hayward also faces two separate charges for driving while being disqualified from driving and driving without insurance.
This was contrary to the Road Traffic Act 1988, the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
The case was sent to Gloucester Crown Court which will be heard on May 11.
